Data controller

This notice is issued by Sağlamtek Havacılık ve Savunma A.Ş. (SAĞLAMTEK Aviation Defense Inc.) as data controller under Law No. 6698, to fulfil the data controller’s obligation to inform. Sağlamtek takes the technical, administrative and legal measures needed to protect your personal data and the privacy of your private life.

Personal data processed

Depending on your relationship with Sağlamtek, the following data may be processed wholly or partly by automated or non-automated means: name, surname, passport number, nationality, place and date of birth, gender, marital status, profession, education, CV, tax number, HES code, signature and e-signature information, licence plate, phone and fax numbers, address, e-mail address, IP address, travel, expense and accommodation data, parent/child names, emergency contacts, facility entry/exit and stay records, call-centre records, website usernames and access logs, invoice data, bank account and IBAN numbers, photographs, camera and audio recordings.

Purposes of processing and transfer

In line with the applicable legislation, your personal data may be processed for purposes including:

• Planning and execution of human resources activities
• Planning and execution of information security processes
• Corporate activities, events and communication
• Finance and accounting operations
• Setting up and managing IT infrastructure
• Ensuring facility and personnel security
• Fulfilling contractual and legal obligations
• Initiating and following legal processes
• Defining and implementing business strategies
• Managing relations with customers, business partners and suppliers
• Improving website services and fixing errors
• Informing authorised authorities

Personal data may be transferred — on the basis of your explicit consent, where expressly required by law, where necessary to set up or perform a contract, to fulfil a legal obligation or for legitimate interests — to customers, business partners, suppliers, contracted persons and entities, legal, financial and tax advisers, auditors, public institutions and other relevant third parties, limited to the purposes above.

Method of collection

Sağlamtek collects and stores personal data verbally, in writing or electronically, through channels including the call centre and websites, for legal and commercial purposes and to carry out and develop its activities.

Your rights

As a data subject you have the right:

• to learn whether your personal data is processed
• to request information if it has been processed
• to learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly
• to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred
• to request correction of incomplete or incorrect data, and notification of this to those third parties
• to request deletion or destruction of data under the conditions of the law, and notification of this to those third parties
• to object to an unfavourable result arising from analysis solely by automated systems
• to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing

How to apply

To use these rights, complete the Data Subject Application Form fully and accurately, and send a signed copy with documents proving your identity to [email protected], deliver it by hand to Yaşamkent Mah. 3053. Cadde No: 9, Çankaya / Ankara, or send it through a notary or another method set out in the legislation.

The information you provide must be complete and accurate. Sağlamtek will answer free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If the action requires an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Authority may be charged.
